Overview

Use Tavily credentials to make authenticated API calls through Alter Vault without exposing API keys in code.

Step 1: Get Credentials

Log in to the Tavily Dashboard

Log in to the Tavily Dashboard at app.tavily.com/home.

Open API Keys

Open the API Keys section on the home page.

Generate or copy a key

Generate a new key or copy the default one (starts with tvly-).

Warning

Never share credentials publicly. Store them securely and only enter them in the Alter Vault Developer Portal.

Step 2: Add to Alter Vault

Open the Developer Portal

Go to portal.alterauth.com and navigate to the application.

Add Tavily

Go to Managed Secrets > Add Provider > Tavily.

Enter credentials

Paste your API Key into the credential field.

Save

Click Save. You’ll receive a grant_id to use with the SDK.
